I picked this pack because it had sufficient support and packed down to a small pocket. This is small but mighty.
I needed a backpack for a trip to Europe part of which I was to do the Camino de Santiago. The luggage allowances are tiny there. I had lots of gear so wanted something that packs flat and small. This did the trick. Packed down to nothing and super durable.
I wish I would give it 10 stars.
I used it as a day pack on the Camino de Santiago for 6 days. It held the camelback in one pocket and all my things in the other pockets. I love the secret pocket in the back I stored my passport in made for wet clothes or something. When I was done with the Camino I used it as a beach bag or extra bag for shopping at the grocery store.
Highly recommend.
I’ve had several compact day backpacks but this one has been the best. While it’s not phenomenal when compared with some of the more expensive and rugged everyday backpacks, this one finds a nice balance. Good zippers, nice space, large side mesh pockets, good weather resistance.
